The former parliamentary aspirant for the All People's Congress in Constituency 049, Tonkolili District, Northern Sierra Leone, has on Sunday 22 February 2025, donated over twenty two (22) bags of rice to the party's Executive.
Ing. Alpha Monarchy Conteh donated the rice at the residence of the Constituency Chairman Back of Ansarul Road in Mile 91, where the party leadership in the area was present.
This thoughtful donation is meant to support the executives in observing Ramadan, a time for reflection, charity, and unity.
Handing over the donation, Ing Conteh said he thought it wise to help the APC executive, realizing the fact that the country and the people are currently going through difficult times. With what he called a small token, Conteh said he believed the donation would ease some financial burden. He called on the executive to be patient and continue to work for the progress of communities in Constituency 049 and the APC party.
In response, the Constituency and Ward Executives have expressed their profound gratitude to "Ing Alpha Monarchy Conteh" for his continued support and commitment to the community and the APC party.
According to David Fornah, the APC Chairman in Constituency 49, Conteh's generosity is a testament to his leadership and dedication to the well-being of the people of Constituency 049.
As the executive of the party in the Constituency, Fornah said they are always ready to embrace everyone. On behalf of the party, the Chairman extended appreciation to Conteh and his team for what he called his timely intervention. He called on all those present to remain patient during this difficult time of the party's history.
The Chairmen from the three wards of Constituency 049 also expressed happiness on behalf of the other members and pledged their continued support and loyalty to the APC and its course.
The singing of the APC victory songs and handing over the twenty-two bags of rice to the APC Executive climaxed the occasion.
